A few years back I lived in New York - I really loved the city a lot, the big bright buildings, and the amazing restaurants and clubs. There was one thing in particular I wasn't too crazy about, and that was my apartment! We lived above a bar, which we didn't mind too much since we were younger and they played house music. But, this wasn't the worst part of it! The bad part was that after moving in, and ONLY after moving in did we find we were infested with little mice. Thankfully for us, they were just born that week and there were hundreds of them! Yea, mice can be cute.
But, they can also carry germs and get you really sick, especially if they are up on your counter tops, on your tooth brush, or rummaging through your food - which apparently they were. We were big animal people so we didn't want to just kill them and be done with it even though they were menacing. So, we did the next best thing - we became the Catchmaster of our domain. Hey, it's our house! Mice are somewhat like an annoying roommate. They eat all your food, and they don't even pay rent. There are VERY humane mouse traps you can find on our website.
Unlike the old traps where the mouse actually gets clamped down on, these humane mouse traps will literally trap the mouse, and allow you to get rid of it (alive). On the other hand, if you scream at the sight of a mouse, you could also consider mouse glue traps. These are the less humane way, but the easier, not have to touch mice way.
